196 Peachtree Street

After methodically assembling five parcels of land along Atlanta’s historic Peachtree Street corridor, Urban Suburban gutted a preexisting structure and constructed a three-story, 20,000-square-foot office building. Serving as the prime contractor for the construction, the structure was largely self-performed by Urban Suburban, Inc. The new building was completed with a 100 percent safety record and successful government inspection.

Today, with its trademark rooftop garden, the building is 90 percent occupied and offers tenants ample meeting and business space with conference rooms located on each floor.

2001 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

Another strategic investment for Urban Suburban was the purchase of a six-story 85,000-square-foot office building on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and prominently situated along the heavily-trafficked Interstate 20 corridor in west Atlanta. When acquired, the distressed structure was only 19 percent leased.

Upon completion of the renovation, the building is now 95 percent occupied. Today, the building also accommodates the highly celebrated Art on 5 Gallery, which is situated on its fifth floor.
